Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as mother of a Russian mom. When she was 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which earned her the honor of a German television appearance. Her performance featured a Russian-born snow maiden who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. She finished high school at the age of 11 in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. In New York, she studied acting in the HB Studio. Later on, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up numerous tasks. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans.
